Necessity of Project Construction
Fuxin is so called coal and electricity city which discharged about 4 million tons of coal gangue and 1 million tons of coal powder per year. Up to present, there 23 coal gangue hills in Fuxin, they totally piled 0.8 billion tons which occupied 42000 mu land, and coal powder totally piled 20 million tons which occupied 6000 mu land. Coal gangue and coal powder not only occupied a large number of farm land, but also seriously polluted city environment and underground water. The project of using coal gangue and coal powder to make high-tech products-subnanometre microbead has four advantages: first, it can reduce environmental pollution; second, it can improve people’s living standard; third, it can earn foreign exchange through export; fourth, it can supply fobs to over 200 unemployed persons.
