Necessity of Project Construction
As the fixed asset investment on the downstream industries of machine tools successively increases for the past a few years, the domestic market demand for electro-mechanical products are uprising by 30% per year, triggering the increase of market demand for machine tools by 30% likewise. Since 2002, China has been the largest machine tools consumer in the world. In 2004, the national annual output of metal cutting-machines amounted 389,400 sets and the output of digital-control machine tools 51,900 sets, respectively 340,800 and 43,300 sets for the first three quarters of 2005.
