36. Project of Synthetic Rubber in Huludao
1. Necessity of Project Construction: It plans to adopt styrene butadiene rubber technology of Belgian Tatal Fina Elf Company and butyl rubber technology of Russian Yaroslavl Synthetic Technique Institute, and the preliminary agreement has been reached. Cinnamene, solvent oil and MTBE among the four kinds of essential raw material in the project are of annual demand of 100,000 tons, which can be solved in Huludao locally. Liaoning is a big province of chemical raw material of our country, plus the supplies of Jilin Chemical Group and Daqing, so the demand of the project’s raw material can be satisfied. The development zone has been of capability of supporting water, electricity, gas, etc infrastructures.
